Chef Gennaro and Brittany met in 2003 in Naples , Italy they have been inseperable ever since. Gennaro has always had a passion for food and creating new dishes . He comes from a long line of Italian chefs and pizzaoli. Gennaro has always been an amazing chef with so much ambition . When he moved to Sarasota he worked in a fine dining restaurant for 15 years as head chef and later became executive chef for a high end assisted living. Eventually covid hit and with having a family he came up with the Idea of Vesuvio Wood Fired Pizza not only to be able to be with his family but to bring real Neapolitan Pizza and flavor to Sarasota.
